Synopsis of a proposal to an organization in a city, county or region with
a population of 50,000 to 150,000
Lammert Publications, Inc., through
its subsidiary Historical Publishing Network, proposes a unique partnership
with the ORGANIZATION for production of a high
quality "coffee table" style history of <<CITY, COUNTY OR REGION
NAME>>.
In this partnership, the book is funded through the sale of business history/profiles,
which are marketed to area businesses by the Publisher.
The ORGANIZATION has no responsibilities, other
than to provide the endorsement and support of the organization to the project.
In return for this support, the ORGANIZATION can
expect to receive substantial income through a royalty on history/profile sales
and through the sale of books.
Main Features of Agreement:
Book is printed on high quality book stock (8 1/2" X 11"), the standard
"coffee table book" size. Case bound with full-color dust jacket.
- Book is formatted with the history
text in the front section and the business history/profiles in the second
section.
- A writer and a photo researcher
will be hired by The Publisher, based on recommendations by the ORGANIZATION.
- The ORGANIZATION
has complete control over:
- selection of the writer and
photo researcher;
- editorial content of the
book;
- inclusion of business profiles
into the book.
- The book title will be "Historic
CITY, COUNTY OR REGION NAME", unless another title is agreed upon.
- The ORGANIZATION
has the right to proof all pages prior to printing.
- The ORGANIZATION
agrees to help acquire endorsements for the project from prominent local individuals
(elected officials, etc.). And the ORGANIZATION
agrees to have its president (or other representative) sign letters to local
business leaders inviting them to participate as corporate sponsors.
- The ORGANIZATION
is indemnified from any liability for the project.
Royalty Projection and Calculation
Profile sales goal: 35 participants purchasing 50 pages@ $2,000.00 per page
